FINANCE ASSISTANT £27,000 - £30,000 NG1, NOTTINGHAM CITY CENTRE FULL TIME, PERMANENT SF Recruitment are currently supporting an established business, located in the heart of Nottingham. The Finance Assistant will initially report directly into the Finance Director, providing plenty of opportunity to learn, grow and develop into a fully qualified AAT accountant as the company continues to deliver its growth ambitions. The role is based in the Nottingham office and will support on a range of responsibilities including processing supplier invoices and payments, reconciliations, credit cards and expenses, and timesheet reporting. Key responsibilities - Maintain all secure fee trackers, processing secure fee forms and reconciling to Xero. - Process supplier invoices and prepare timely payment schedules and postings. - Process monthly credit cards spend and expense claims and payments. - Manage timesheet recording and reporting to support in project profitability reporting. - Provide cover and support to the Credit Controller on sales invoicing and receipts. - Any other ad hoc tasks or analysis requested by the Finance Director. Qualifications and experience - Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance role expected. - Active studier of AAT preferred. - Experience of using Xero desirable. - Advanced Excel skills needed, particularly PivotTables and VLOOKUP's.
