We are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join the Finance team for a global company based in Nottingham. This a full-time role reporting to the Finance Controller. You will manage the processing of a high volume of invoices, supplier statement reconciliation, month end reporting, staff expenses and various support tasks for the wider Finance team.They also offer a hybrid working model with 3 days office based, 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing a high volume of invoices through AP
  • Bank payments, including monthly supplier payment runs
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Month end reporting requirements such as Prepayments, Accruals and Fixed Assets
  • Manage staff expenses system and processing of payments
  • Assisting with the annual audit
  • Any ad hoc duties to support the Finance team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Finance Assistant role are essential
  • Experience using SAP
  • Strong IT skills, in particular Excel
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Self-motivated and a team player
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
