Astute Recruitment are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant on behalf of our client based in Bilborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys managing varied finance responsibilities independently.

Duties:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including processing invoices, payments, and expenses
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accurate data entry into accounting systems
  • Oversee the accounts payable function
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Making sure suppliers are paid within agreed timeframes
  • Intercompany sales invoices
  • Processing payment runs
  • Act as a key point of contact for financial queries internally and externally
  • Collaborate with wider team to provide financial insight and support

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Knowledge of accounting and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset
