Hours: Monday- Friday, 37.5 hours per week 8:00am - 4:30pm, Office- based

We are currently seeking for a meticulous and experience Sales Ledger Clerk to join a friendly finance team, supporting Management Accountant and Financial Controller. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records, including invoicing, credit control, processing expenses and raising reports, initially 6 months fixed term contract, with the opportunity for permanent employment.
Main Duties:
- Processing and generating invoice and statements
- Credit control duties and monitoring debtor balances
- Processing credit cards, credit notes and expenses
- Reconciling accounts
- Raising weekly / monthly debtors’ reports
- Assisting with preparation of month-end and internal audits
Ideal Candidate should have:
- Experience of Sales Ledger
- Experience of working in within the Education sector would be an advantage
- An eye for details
- AAT or equivalent would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills verbal & written
- Able to work to strict deadlines
- Hold current DBS would be desirable
