Link3 Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic and empathetic Behaviour Mentors for a Secondary School in Nottinghamshire. The school is looking for individuals who can provide tailored support to students facing behavioural difficulties, helping them to develop positive attitudes towards learning and manage their behaviour effectively.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students, teachers, and support staff to implement strategies that encourage positive behaviour, improve emotional regulation, and support academic success. To be successful in this position, you will need to:

  • Have experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural or emotional challenges.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies to support students with challenging behaviours.

  • Be able to build positive and trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents.

  • Have excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively liaise with teachers, parents, and external agencies.

  • Be patient, empathetic, and committed to helping students develop socially and emotionally.

  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Assist in creating and implementing individual behaviour plans tailored to each student's needs.

  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment by encouraging students to engage in school activities and lessons.
