Maths Teacher job - Nottingham
Start date: SeptemberSubject: Maths at KS3 & KS4Timetable: Full Time
We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' secondary school in Nottingham who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to start in September. To be successful, you will be a Maths Teacher with recent experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cover the curriculum. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the department and participate in extracurricular activities.
Job Description
- Delivering engaging and creative Maths lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
- Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Maths or related field
- Recent experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
