Progress Teachers are working with a local mainstream Secondary School to appoint experienced and impactful teachers of Maths. The successful candidate will be required to plan and deliver lessons to pupils across KS3/KS4, supporting them to develop key skills and competencies in the subject area, as well as fostering a love for learning.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver Engaging Lessons:Â Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage pupils and help them develop key skills.
- Assessment and Feedback:Â Conduct regular assessment to monitor pupil progress, maintaining accurate records of outcomes.
- Classroom Management:Â Manage classroom behaviour effectively through the consistent use of the School's behaviour policy.
- Wider School Responsibilities: Engage and actively participate in wider professional responsibilities such as lunchtime duty, parents evenings, and transition open evenings as required by the School.
Qualification Requirements:
- Teaching Qualifications:Â A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with a focus on Maths is highly advantageous, however, experienced non-qualified teachers will also be considered for the role.
- Subject Knowledge:Â A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field is essential.
- Teaching Experience:Â Proven experience as a Secondary teacher with a successful track record of student achievement is positive, but not essential. Strong ECTs will also be considered for this role.
- Communication Skills:Â Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Commitment to Inclusion:Â A commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment that caters to the needs of all students.
- A DBS on the Update Service or Willingness to obtain.
