Maths Teacher Job - Nottinghamshire-based School

Hays are in partnership with an Ofsted rated 'Good' Academy located in West Nottinghamshire. They are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join their team from Easter. This is a full-time and long-term job until the end of the academic year. There is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students at KS3 and KS4, with the ability to teach KS5 being highly desirable.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
