We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school community on a temporary basis, covering maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity for an PE teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a key role in promoting a love of sport, health, and physical activity among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate in physical activities.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the wider school sports and health programme.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during PE lessons and activities.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Physical Education.
  • Proven experience teaching PE at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.

Desirable:

  • Experience of teaching or coaching a range of sports.
  • Willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school.
