IT Teacher - Nottinghamshire

Hays are working in partnership with a 11-16 Secondary School in Nottinghamshire. The school are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated IT Teacher. This is a part-time role (0.6), teaching 3 days a week.

For this role, you will be experienced at teaching IT across Key Stage 3 and 4, including at GCSE. The role you will be covering includes year 10 iMedia, year 11 Enterprise, a small number of year 9 with general IT lessons as well as being a form tutor to a year 8 group. Previous experience of the Cambridge National qualification would be desirable but not essential.

To be successful you will need to

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.

  • Recent experience teaching IT/Computer Science at secondary school level.
  • Strong behaviour/classroom management.
