Shire Healthcare are recruiting aDirector of Clinical Servicesto join and support aCQCratedGOOD adult Acute/PICUservice in Nottinghamshire.
Role snapshot:
As part of the senior management team , you will be responsible forclinical services operationwithin the hospital. Ensuring high qualitypatient careis delivered is priority. You will also be responsible for successful implementation of therapeuticinterventionsbeing implemented to improve the overall operation.
Reporting into the Hospital Director, you will oversee clinicalstaffing, hold ownership of clinical departmentbudgets, ensure clinicalgovernanceand promote positive and effective working relationships within the multi-disciplinary teams.
Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering career pathways to clinical staff, this includestalent mappingandsuccession planning.
Contract type: Permanent
Hours:37.5 hours , full time
Salary: 60,000 FTE
Experience required:
Candidates applying will holdaccreditation/registrationwith the relevant body (this includes Nursing/Family Therapists/Psychotherapists/Psychologists/CBT Therapists and anyone with a health/medical background.)
You must hold a minimum of5 years clinicalexperienceand previousmanagementexperience. It would be desirable for applicants to have experience of working within Acute or PICU settings, however we also welcome applications from those with an interest/passion in working with complex mental health.
