The job is for an experienced Workshop Fabricator at a leading UK manufacturer of staircases, balconies, and steel/glass structures located in Nottingham.
The position is permanent, offering an hourly rate of £14-£16.50 depending on experience, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, and overtime available during busy periods.
Key responsibilities include high-quality sheet metal fabrication, welding of mild and stainless steel, and working from manufacturing drawings.
Applicants should have skills in architectural metalwork fabrication, the ability to read engineering drawings, and ideally have sheet metalwork experience and coded welding.
Demonstrable experience of maintaining high personal standards and pride in work quality is required.

Due to growth and major planned projects, we are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Fabricator to join a leading UK manufacturer of staircases, balconies and steel/ glass structures, based on the northern side of Nottingham, working DAYS!

This WorkshopFabricator role is a permanentposition offering an hourly rate of 14-16.50 per hour dependent on experience working Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm with overtime available during busy periods. Key responsibilities will include:

High quality sheet metal fabrication work within aproduction environment and wider operations department
Fabrication and Welding of Mild Steel and Stainless Steel
Building Subcomponents using Jigs then fitting to pre-assembled machine skeletons
Working frommanufacturing drawings
Working within a highly skilled and qualified welding team

We are keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

Fully skilled in architectural metalwork fabrication
Ability to read engineering drawings accurately
Capable of welding/ fabricating mild steel and stainless steel
Ideally sheet metalwork experience and coded welding
Demonstrable experience of working to exceptionally high personal standards, taking pride in the quality of your work
