Are you a recent Electronics/Electrical Engineering Graduate with experience within a manufacturing environment, looking for an opportunity to become an Electronics Engineer with an employer where you have the ability to learn from talented engineers?

In this role, you will join a small engineering team and be required to work on a range of projects both independently and collaboratively. You will be designing and developing products from printed circuit board design, firmware development to integration. This varied opportunity provides interesting and challenging responsibilities, playing a key part in the manufacturing process.

The Role

  • Design and develop solutions for data acquisition and control in educational products, including PCB design, embedded firmware, and system integration with controllers, instrumentation, and drives
  • Validate and test hardware and firmware to ensure functionality, performance, and compatibility across various components
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), manufacturing files, and PCB layout
  • Provide on-site technical support during manufacturing and testing, troubleshooting issues to ensure timely production and meet customer delivery deadlines
  • Update and refine designs based on testing feedback, ensuring continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturability

The Person

  • Degree or equivalent in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
