Job Description:

Trident Healthacre are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Pharmacy Manager to join our clients team at a private hospital in Nottingham.This is a full-time contract position for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have a background in CCU but not essential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department.
  • Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, ensuring high standards of practice.
  • Incharge of handling monthly rotas to department staff
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct medication reviews and manage inventory.
  • Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Proven experience as a Pharmacy Manager, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • CCUexperiencebackground desirable butnot essential.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
