Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and educational support.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, promoting their emotional and social development.
- Implement individual care plans and participate in regular reviews.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Engage in recreational activities and outings to enhance children's experiences.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent qualification.
- DBS on the update service
- CSE training within 12 months and can provide certificate
- Experience working with children in a residential or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Understanding of child development and safeguarding practices.
- Resilience and the ability to manage challenging behaviours.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable.
