Children's Senior Support Worker - Nottingham

Location: Nottingham

Salary:£27.5k - £28.7k per year + additional £4,000-£8,000 per year for sleep-ins

Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week

Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence is required

The Recruitment Crowd are currently looking for a Children's Senior Support Worker for a leading provider of innovative care and education services for children and young people with complex needs, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Job role:- As a Senior Support Worker, you will be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people. You will be led and supported by a registered manager, working alongside other professionals to deliver therapeutic care and support tailored to each individual child.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide high-quality care and support, guiding and mentoring other support workers.
  • Act as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, demonstrating best practices and nurturing a supportive environment.
  • Meet the everyday living needs of the children, fostering an environment of recovery, growth, and lasting change.
  • Develop trusting relationships that make a meaningful impact on the lives of the children and young people you support.

Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that the care provided meets the highest standards and that each child has the opportunity to thrive

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in Children's Residential is required
  • Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People
  • Full UK Driving Licence- Essential
  • Over the age of 21
