Support Worker Needed in Nottingham
Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a support worker to work within our client's nursing homes and residential homes in Nottingham. The client is looking for someone experienced and competent for the role to ensure the highest standards of care are met and that you are accurately and correctly following orders from the nurses and senior care assistants on shift.
Support Worker vacancy details:
- £11.44 - £13.00 per hour
- Full time contract.
- Permanent position.
- Residential Home is only Days
- Nursing Home is a mixture of Days and Nights - need to be able to do both.
Support Worker main duties:
- Providing emotional support for an individual and their families.
- Supporting and helping with health care needs, including routine checks, or administrating medication.
- Encouraging and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Teaching life skills, such as shopping, using public transport and paying for bills.
- Working with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all care needs meet the highest possible standards.
Support Worker Person Specification:
- Experience within a Learning Disability or Mental Health facility previously.
- NVQ Qualifications are preferred but not essential.
- At least 1 years' experience as a Support Worker.
- To be able to meet the needs of the service - only day shifts, or a mixture of day shifts and night shifts.
Work authorisation:
- United Kingdom (required).
- No Sponsorship offered.
