Support Worker - Long Eaton, Nottingham - 11.80 per hour

Brookes HC Recruitment Ltd is working with a renowned Health and Social Care Provider who have an Urgent Requirement for a new Team Member

The Role:

  • Starting from 9th March 2025
  • Support a Female Service User with Complex Needs
  • Assisting with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility support.
  • Administering prescribed medications according to strict protocols and monitoring for side effects.
  • Facilitating communication using various methods including augmentative communication devices, sign language, or verbal cues.
  • Implementing positive behavioural support strategies to manage challenging behaviours and promote appropriate social interactions.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and service users to create personalized support plans addressing specific needs and goals.
  • Assisting individuals to access community services, activities, and social events.
  • Observing and reporting any changes in physical or mental health status to relevant professionals.
  • Maintaining detailed records of support provided, including observations, interventions, and any incidents.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals by adhering to safeguarding procedures.
  • Safely assisting with transfers and mobility needs using proper techniques.

The Candidate:

  • Experienced Support Worker with a minimum of 6 months UK Healthcare Experience
  • Fully compliant and DBS Checked
  • Able to work full time with no restrictions
