We are seeking a talented Software Developer to support the development of high-availability sortation systems and automated guided vehicles.
The position is with a market-leading supplier of integrated warehouse automation solutions, offering a competitive salary.
Candidates should have a qualification in a computer science field or relevant programming courses and ideally possess experience with databases like Oracle and SQL-Server.
This role requires effective communication skills for collaboration with colleagues and clients, along with knowledge of C#, Visual Studio, and .Net.
Travel may be required for 10-20% of the working week, and the position is office-based five days a week.

You will be working as a Software Developer for a market leading supplier of integrated warehouse automation solutions. Duties of a Software Developer:

Conceptual design, commissioning and documentation of customised material flow and warehouse management solutions for customers
Connection to ERP systems e.g SAP R/3 (WM/EWM)
Service and extensions of existing systems
Preparation of cost estimates for implementation of the design extensions
Supporting the software helpdesk service team
Travel will be required for 10-20% of your working week to support customers

Skills and experience required of a Software Developer:

Qualification in a computer science field or Programming courses
Working on databases such as Oracle, SQL-Server and ideally the Entity Framework
Knowledge of C#, Visual Studio, .Net
Network knowledge (Ethernet, TCP/IP)
Effective communication skills as this role involves collaborating with colleagues and external clients.
