Software Developer | Nottingham | Permanent | Salary up to £55000 | HybridCherry are looking for a dynamic Software Developer for a forward thinking and expanding company. With an initial large-scale project of migrating the company’s current legacy application to an updated cloud-based system, to gain advantages in platform advances, extend existing functionality and enhance user experience.Responsibilities:• Ensure the continuous development and maintenance of the revised OH application in line with both internal requirements and customer expectations. This includes continuing to develop, maintain, monitor and support the core platforms, helping to continually automate and streamline processes• Work in partnership and influence the existing in-house IT development team whilst sharing knowledge, ideas and thoughts to achieve a successful change project• Liaise and collaborate with employees at all levels to ensure the continuous development of the OH application, to support and implement innovation and usability• Develop & maintain software across a modern tech stack• Contribute to continuous improvement and Agile processes• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality clinical software• Work closely with Software Test Engineers to ensure top-notch product quality• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal software performance• Delivering all the requirements, functionality, usability, roll-out and ongoing support of the new company application• Contribute with the design, development and deployment of the new company application to create a fit for purpose system for the next period of growth and beyond• Lead on all agreed tasks using internal project planning and reporting methodology to update colleagues appropriatelyIdeal Candidate:• Minimum three years’ experience as a C# developer.• Excellent understanding of Agile Methodologies, ASP.NET and agile methodologies• Excellent organisational skills including time management.• Previous experience working within health care or public sector would be advantageous• A passion for continuous self-improvement through learning new technologies and tools.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and creativity.• A demonstrable passion for software development, and a desire to strive for excellence.Cherry Professional are recruiting on behalf of their clientRoles you may have applied for: Software Developer | Senior Software Developer | Software Engineer |Cherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
