Firmware Developer - Nottingham - 45/55k

ALH recruitment are looking to recruit a Software/Firmware Developer with immediate effect for our client who continue to dominate their market, this position is based in Nottingham.

Embedded Software/Firmware Developer

The company is expanding it's R&D team located at the Nottingham University Science Park and is seeking an Embedded Software Developer. The successful candidate will develop firmware for a range of smart charging technologies.

Duties would include:

Source code version control and project management.

Firmware development supporting smart charging functionality

compliant with OCPP, ISO61851, ISO15118, MID 2014/32/EU, WELMEC 7.2.

Support production and operation teams.

To be part of the team you’ll need:

3+years’ embedded firmware development experience including

Languages C, C++ on ARM 32-64Bit cores.

Have worked with 'RTOS’ operating systems and embedded Linux.

Capable of designing structured code and managing version control.

Not Essential but would be Advantageous

Development environments Clion, Yocto, STM32, ESP32-IDF, VScode.

Communication technologies CANbus, MODbus, Wifi, BLE.
