Job definition:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software Test Engineer with solid automation and manual testing experience, including Unit / integration / functional / acceptance.

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications written in C# and React by creating, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and automated testing solutions. You will collaborate closely with the development team to deliver high-quality, bug-free applications.

You will design and run Manual/Automated tests for our SaaS solutions written in both C# . NET and React. Software is deployed in Azure DevOps for Linux/Windows environment.

Must be a 'team worker', with a can-do attitude be willing to 'fit in' to the Dispace culture and capable of adapting to meet the continuing demands of producing high quality products for our clients.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Scope, Design, write and deploy Manual & Automated tests needed to confirm feature functionality, security, performance, and reliability of software

  • Execute test plans to ensure the features meet the needs of our customers and the company.

  • Write and fill test reports that will present performance and risks

  • Recommend 3rd party tools to test functionality of developed software

  • Reviewing and improving all technical documentation and user guides

  • Liaising with Cross department teams to help deliver quality products

  • Build and maintain high-quality User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments

  • Implement and develop CI/CD tooling.

  • Work with customers and support colleagues to troubleshoot customer issues.

  • Follow development processes and use collaborative tooling to deliver work as part of a team

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

  • Prepare activity and progress reports regarding project activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

The role will require the use of a wide range of development skills and tools including: -

  • Proven experience in software development ideally in a quality focussed role.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficient in test frameworks such as N-unit & Jest

  • Understanding of web accessibility and considerations around responsive web applications.

  • Knowledge of and experience using cloud platforms and services (e.g. Azure).

  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality, error-free code.

  • Ability to write and run meaningful unit tests.

  • Prior work with Booking / Venue Management solutions

  • Prior work with React Admin framework

  • Experience of Containerisation and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience of Agile development practices.
