Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and behavioral challenges? We are seeking a dedicated SEN & PRU Teaching Assistant to join our team, working with Key Stage 3-4 students to help them stay engaged in their education and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to Key Stage 3-4 students within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) setting
Assist with tailored learning activities to keep students engaged and motivated
Implement and monitor individualized learning and behavioral plans
Build positive relationships with students, promoting social and emotional development
Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure a supportive learning environment
Requirements:
Previous experience in a PRU or similar SEN environment preferred
Ability to adapt to different learning needs and behaviors effectively
Full UK driving license and access to your own car (essential for consideration)
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and resilience in challenging situations
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week)
