Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion for supporting young learners in their early development? Do you have a solid background in Special Educational Needs (SEN) support? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact!

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Primary Care Assistant to join an SEN unit within a mainstream school. This rewarding role will involve providing both 1:1 and group support, tailored to the individual needs of the students. Personal care may be involved, including helping children with eating during lunchtime. We are seeking professionals with hands-on experience in SEN, ready to contribute their expertise and make a difference in the lives of children who need it most.

? Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with SEN students (this role is not suitable for those new to SEN)
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young learners and contributing to their early development
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)

In this role, you will work closely with the child and the wider teaching team to ensure the child’s needs are met, helping them to thrive in a nurturing learning environment.
