The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality support to pupils in a primary school environment. This role will involve a combination of working one-to-one with children with Special Educational Needs and supporting groups within mainstream classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted support to pupils with mixed SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.

Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Encourage positive social interactions and emotional wellbeing among pupils.

Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Support small group interventions to reinforce learning objectives.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

Experience working within primary school settings, particularly with SEN pupils.

A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to education.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
