Aspire People are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream Primary schools (KS1 / KS2) based in Nottingham City and surrounding areas.

Do you have a passion for building relationships quickly and working in small groups?

The ideal candidate for this role would be a talented and experienced Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with children who have additional needs, either within a school or another SEN setting. You will be providing individualised support and assistance to a specific student who may have specific SEN needs. You will have a passion and willing to support students no matter what they need.

Supply roles can offer you a flexible lifestyle where you can choose the days you work, and help to develop experience across a number of different schools, classes and year groups.

Requirements:
* Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning (or ratio equivalent.)
* Experience of working with children who have additional needs
* Strong empathy and understanding of individual student need
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the student, staff, and parents.
* Patience, resilience, and the ability to provide emotional support when needed.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
