Empowering Learning are working in partnership with one of our primary schools based in Long Eaton. The school are looking to appoint 2 x teaching assistants to support with behaviour onto permanent contracts. School based experience is preferred but not essential. We are willing to consider people from:

- Teaching Assistants
- Sports Coaches
- Mentors
The school are looking for people who:
- Have a resilient attitude
- Can build relationships with children with challenging behaviours
- Will help to engage pupils within lessons
- Can act as a positive role model to the children
- Possess an empathy towards pupils from challenging backgrounds
The main duties within the role will be:
- Supporting students on a 1:1 basis
- Leading academic sessions around maths and English
- Liaising with senior staff in school around progress of the children
- De-escalating situations where challenging behaviour has arisen
This role will be full time and permanent and salary will be between 19,500 and 22,500 dependent upon experience and qualifications. A driving license is essential to this role
