We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to work across Primary Schools. These non-teaching positions are exciting opportunities to make a significant impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.
You will be expected to undertake the professional duties and responsibilities of a SENCO. Responsible for the co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or a disability and the associated paperwork.
Requirements:
*Proven experience as a SENCO or in a similar role within a special educational needs setting
*In-depth knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices
*Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
*A compassionate and patient approach to working with students with diverse needs
*A relevant degree and SENCO qualification are essential
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
*Flexibility and availability to work on a daily supply basis
*An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or wiling to apply for one)
