Job Opportunity: Functional Skills Teacher (SEN Environment)
Your Purpose
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a Functional Skills Teacher who will take a collaborative, multi-sensory, and holistic approach to delivering the English, Maths, Science, and ICT Functional Skills curriculum. You'll engage learners through small group sessions or 1:1 teaching, creating captivating and innovative learning experiences for young people.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for educators with:
- Experience in delivering Functional Skills within an SEN environment.
- Innovative teaching methods and the ability to inspire and re-engage learners.
- Knowledge of health and safety awareness, risk management, and safeguarding young people.
- A flexible and resilient approach to handling challenging behaviours.
This role also requires the ability to travel between sites to support young people as needed. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are essential.
