We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our supportive team in Wollaton, working with children in EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and KS1 (Key Stage 1). This is a full-time position with an immediate start, running until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Work closely with support staff to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
* Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and implement strategies to support the progress and development of students.
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
* Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods as necessary.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with children with SEN, particularly within EYFS or KS1.
* A strong understanding of early childhood development and special education practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable:
* Additional qualifications or training in SEN.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
