Are you a sports coach, drama/acting tutor, singing instructor, or someone with a creative and friendly personality looking for a rewarding career working with children?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a number of SEN and mainstream primary schools who are looking for enthusiastic individuals to support pupils with Special Educational Needs. These are full-time, school-based roles where your creativity, energy and empathy can make a real difference.
About the Role:
-
Location: Various schools (mainstream and SEN)
-
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30

Responsibilities: Supporting children with additional needs, either 1:1 or in small groups, helping them access learning, build confidence, and thrive in the school environment
Who We’re Looking For:
-
Individuals with a background or training in sports, performing arts, youth work, or creative subjects
-
Friendly, positive and patient personalities who are confident engaging with children of all abilities
-
Experience with SEN is highly beneficial, but not essential — with the right attitude, approach and qualifications, we can support you in gaining the experience you need
Why This Could Be Right for You:
-
Opportunity to work in a meaningful, rewarding setting where no two days are the same
-
A route into education for those from creative or coaching backgrounds
-
Full-time, consistent hours - ideal for someone looking to build a career in schools
-
Ongoing support, training, and the chance to gain specialist experience
Please Note:These roles require consistency and commitment, as routine and relationships are vital to the development of children with SEN. We are ideally looking for candidates who are able to commit to full-time, term-time work.
If you’re ready to take your creativity or coaching skills into a new, purposeful environment, we’d love to hear from you.
