Senior Supervisor (EC&I) - Energy Sector

Z-Tech, a leading company in the energy sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supervisor (EC&I) to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Supervisor (EC&I), you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing various aspects of our operations within the energy sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in the industry to make a significant impact on our company's success. This role requires an aspect of hybrid working around planning, supervising and hand's on work of electrical or instrumentation deliveries in which you will support your team of electricians who will fall under your line management.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of technicians, ensuring high performance, productivity, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting a positive work environment and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring their successful execution and completion within deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project workflow, resolve issues, and maintain effective communication.
  • Monitor and enforce quality standards and procedures to ensure all work meets regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Conduct safety meetings, training sessions, and risk assessments, and implement safety initiatives to minimize workplace hazards.
  • Plan and assist delivery of electrical or instrumentation systems in a hands on capacity with assistance of your electrical team.
What we will need from you:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of successful project completion.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on delivering efficient and effective solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites and work outside regular business hours, if required.
  • Experience of Installing or Maintaining Electrical, Control & Instrumentation systems.
  • Qualified Electrician or Controls & Instrumentation Technician up to a Level 3 NVQ Standard and associated qualifications (18th Edition Wiring Regulations, Electrotechnical qualifications such as HNC,Testing and Inspection - C&G 2391).
