SF are currently working exclusively with a fast growing business based in Nottingham who have an exciting opportunity as a Senior Accountant on a full or part time, permanent basis. Salary up to £45,000
Either qualified by experience or only a few ACA/ACCA exams remaining - Will do study support for last exams
2 days working from home
Really flexible working hours, also offer part time hours (30hours+)
25 holidays (Increases by 1 after 3 years of service/maximum 28 days holiday) + Bank holiday. Will only use 2 at Christmas
Must be currently or previously worked in practice

Job duties:
Overseeing a team of 2 (Experienced so won't need hands on support)
Practice Management
- Support the Director with operations of the accountancy practice
- Help, support, and allocate workloads across the team
- Motivate and support colleagues in delivering excellent client service
- Maintain client satisfaction through timely, accurate delivery and communication
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
Accountancy & Compliance
- Prepare and review:
o Year-end statutory accounts
o Self-assessment tax returns
o Corporation tax returns
o Service charge accounts (experience in property accounting desirable)
- Liaise directly with clients regarding queries, deadlines, and updates
- Ensure all filings are completed accurately and on time
- Provide ad hoc support on bookkeeping or client accounting tasks when needed

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Qualified by experience (With AAT) or finalist ACA/ACCA
Some experience with preparing Statutory Accounts and Year - End duties
Team player - Family working environment so fit is key
Don't need managing experience but would like to as managing 2 experienced members
Good Excel skills
Good attention to detail
