About Us:Hays Education is a leading recruitment agency dedicated to connecting talented educators with rewarding opportunities. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Behaviour Sports Mentor to join our team, working with primary schools in Nottingham and Derby.

Role Overview:As a Behaviour Sports Mentor, you will use the power of sports to positively influence and support the behaviour and well-being of primary school students. You will work closely with teachers and school staff to develop and implement sports-based interventions that promote positive behaviour, teamwork, and social skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver sports activities and programs that engage students and promote positive behaviour.
  • Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to address behavioural challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate sports activities into the broader educational framework.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour improvements.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in sports coaching, mentoring, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting student development.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
