Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a Public Sector Organisation in the East Midlands, to recruit a Procurement Officer on an 18 month Fixed Term Contract basis.

The individual will be responsible for developing the organisations procurement strategy, as well as working proactively with the procurement team to take ownership on a range of complex projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is keen to further progress within an expanding procurement team.

The role offers a hybrid working policy; with the requirement to attend the office 3 days per week, with the other 2 days working from home. This role also includes a generous benefits package.

Role:

  • Lead on the development and delivery of strategic and procurement projects.
  • Manage the development of under threshold tenders
  • Working under frameworks
  • Engage with stakeholders frequently to understand requirements.

Individual:

  • Ideally suited to a candidate with experience and knowledge of public sector regulations
  • Ideally suited to an individual who will be able to come in and hit the ground running, with little hand holding
  • Ability to develop under threshold tenders
