Senior Estimator - East Midlands

Senior Estimator -Our succesful main contractor client are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team operating within the East Midlands.

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for delivering accurate build costs across multiple projects, ensuring the right net cost is proposed on time and to the highest standard of cost accuracy. Based out of the East Midlands office, there is the possiblity of hybrid working.

Duties

  • Develop accurate cost plans, lead design teams on affordability, and identify value-adding opportunities while managing project risks and offering solutions.
  • Create and manage procurement strategies, conduct detailed cost assessments, and provide comprehensive cost information for handover to the commercial team.
  • Build strong relationships with supply chain partners and customers, ensuring collaboration on design, logistics, and project performance throughout all phases.

Experience

  • Deliver successful tenders using Conquest Estimating system, accurately taking off quantities and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Control project costs, timing, and quality to meet targets while maintaining proactive customer communication.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to add value throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in an Estimator role.
  • Good standard of mathematical ability.
  • Appropriate CSCS card.
  • Minimum relevant level 4 qualification or (HNC / NVQ4 etc) or relevent degree is desirable.
