Senior Estimator, East Midlands
Construction Senior Estimator - An exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a leading contractor known for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and education.
Duties:
- As a Senior Estimator you will lead and manage the creation of robust, accurate cost plans, tracking the customer’s concept design through various design stages up to target price.
- Guide the design team and customers on affordability, identifying opportunities to add value and offering solutions throughout the project process.
- Develop a tender procurement strategy, manage project take-offs, and collaborate with the production team to ensure logistics and buildability considerations are accounted for.
Experience:
- Successful delivery of tenders, with experience using estimating systems such as Conquest or similar.
- Proven ability to control costs, timing, and quality in line with project targets, while interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong background in proactive customer liaison and identifying opportunities to add value during the project lifecycle.
