We are currently seeking an experienced Property Surveyor to join a leading housing provider on a temporary, ongoing basis. This role is based in the East Midlands, primarily covering Nottingham and its surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for surveying properties for day-to-day repairs, planned works, and issues related to damp and mould.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct thorough surveys of properties to assess and document repair needs and planned works.
  • Identify and evaluate problems related to damp and mould, providing effective solutions.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely and efficient repair and maintenance services.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of surveys conducted, highlighting any immediate or potential issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and to improve the overall condition of properties.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive surveying experience, particularly within the housing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of building pathology.
  • Proficiency in identifying and resolving issues related to property repairs, damp, and mould.
  • Ideally holds a professional qualification in building or surveying.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with various teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
