- Prepare tax returns and accounts for sole traders and partnerships.
- Liaise directly with clients to gather necessary information and handle queries.
- Manage client accounts using software such as QuickBooks and FreeAgent.
- Ensure accuracy in profit and loss statements and other financial documents.
- Handle a portfolio of clients.
- Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
- Experience in personal tax and profit & loss reporting.
- Previous experience in a small accountancy practice is preferred.
- AAT qualification is advantageous, but candidates who are QBE (Qualified by Experience) will also be considered.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, FreeAgent, and other accounting software.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ideally, we are looking for someone who is content with their career and does not seek rapid progression, but still enjoys a challenging and rewarding role.
