Are you a logistics whiz with a knack for organisation and customer service? Join our dynamic team in Bracknell as a Hire Controller, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our plant hire services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise transport efficiently, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely deliveries.
- Ensure equipment is collected on time.
- Ensure scheduled deliveries are made on time.
- Keep all contract and systems paperwork accurate and up to date.
- Negotiate rates according to price lists and discount policies.
- Maximise the effectiveness of Service Engineers.
- Liaise with other branches to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure team members raise correct charges for damages and losses.
- Promptly communicate all sales leads to the sales staff.
- Ensure all company QHSE procedures are followed.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong organisational and logistics skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Proficient in contract management and documentation
- Ability to negotiate and follow pricing policies
- Team-oriented with effective coordination skills
- Proactive in problem-solving and business development
