A multiservice design, planning and development consultancy is looking for a Senior Planner to join the Nottingham office. This is a unique opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, from urban regeneration schemes to strategic planning initiatives, while collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and fellow professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to develop and implement strategic planning policies.
  • Leading the creation of planning strategies and policies for sustainable growth across the UK.
  • Managing planning applications, appeals, and consultations.
  • Conducting site searches, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to inform planning decisions.
  • Engaging with local communities and businesses to foster positive relationships.
  • Providing expert planning advice to clients and stakeholders.

What You'll Need:

  • Previous experience in a planning role (local government, consultancy, or development industry preferred).
  • A relevant Planning qualification.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership with RTPI.
  • Strong understanding of the planning process and legislation.
  • Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills and an approachable manner.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize workloads.
  • A team player with drive, commitment, and enthusiasm.
