We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Travel Agent to join a small, close-knit team, based in a local travel agency in South Nottinghamshire. The ideal candidate will assist in providing exceptional travel planning services to our clients. This position offers the opportunity to learn and grow in the travel industry, working closely with experienced agents to develop your skills in customer service, itinerary planning, and booking management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Client Interaction: Assist clients in-person in determining their travel needs and preferences
  • Itinerary Planning: Support the development of detailed travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, transportation, and activities.
  • Booking Management: Handle reservations and bookings for various travel

services, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Documentation: Prepare and manage travel documents, such as itineraries, tickets,

and insurance policies, ensuring all client needs are met.

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after travel, addressing any inquiries or issues that arise.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about travel products, destinations, and industry trends to provide up-to-date information and advice to clients.
  • Sales Support: Assist in promoting travel packages, upselling additional services, and achieving sales targets.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties, including managing client files, processing payments, and updating databases.
