We have great opportunity to join our team as a Heavy Vehicle Tutor working on this apprenticeship programme from a college in Nottinghamshire.
As a Heavy Vehicle Tutor you will have a wealth of knowledge in the automotive industry and can provide engaging lessons that are tailored to learners specific needs and interests. You will be an excellent communicator and will have a real passion for Heavy Vehicles
The heavy vehicle tutor will cover a wide range of topics, including:
- Vehicle maintenance and repair
- Engine performance and tuning
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Electrical systems and wiring
- Safety and regulations
Qualifications and Experience
- Level 3 qualifications in Motor Vehicle Repair
- Experience working on Heavy Vehicles
- Minimum Level 2 Math and English
- A Teaching qualification or a willingness to complete one in-service
- Classroom experience or experience working with apprentices would be advantageous

- To keep colleagues well-informed with updates about Safeguarding and Prevent delivered through frequent 121s, team meetings and hot topics.
- Confidentiality we will only share private and sensitive information about a learner when it is in the best interests to do so, e.g. if there is a Safeguarding concern.
