A college in Nottingham is seeking a lecturer to teach Level 3 Biology and Health and Social Care. This role requires an immediate start and involves teaching across 3 days, totalling 11.5 hours per week.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Level 3 Biology and Health and Social Care.
- Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide guidance and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Must hold a minimum of Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English.
- Must possess a teaching qualification.
- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Must have a DBS on the update service, ensuring suitability for working in an educational environment.
