Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Plumber to join Nottingham City Council's Housing Service on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out installation, maintenance, and repairs of water supply, sanitation, and drainage systems.
- Install and maintain baths, sinks, toilets, radiators, and non-gas heating systems.
- Identify and resolve faults, ensuring long-term solutions.
- Work proactively to prevent damp and mould issues.
- Support tenants by providing excellent customer service and ensuring high safety standards.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Advanced Craft qualification in Plumbing.
- Strong experience in diagnosing and repairing plumbing faults.
- Comfortable using technology, such as PDA/tablet devices for job tracking.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work flexibly, including emergency call-outs if required.
