Technical Client Relationship Specialist – MFD Printers
Location: Home + Field-Based (Northern + Midlands Region)
Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE + Package (including car/car allowance, 10% bonus, private medical, and more)

We’re partnering with a global leader in print and imaging technology to help them find a Technical Client Relationship Specialist to join a dynamic and innovative team. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge Multi-Functional Devices (MFDs) and make a significant impact on the business’s UK expansion.

This role blends technical expertise with relationship management, ensuring resellers and partners receive unparalleled support, training, and service. Whether you're troubleshooting, providing technical training, or driving product reliability improvements, every day will bring exciting new challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical expert to support and develop partners' service organizations.
  • Deliver technical training to partners and authorized service providers, both remotely and in person.
  • Provide advanced second-level technical support for software and hardware issues on MFDs.
  • Manage escalated cases to resolution, meeting service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Conduct product performance and reliability reviews, ensuring continuous improvements.
  • Oversee warranty claims and spare parts management in collaboration with supply chain teams.
  • Regularly communicate with partners to enhance response times and customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the next technical level and provide detailed reports.
  • Assist in implementing technical strategies to align with company goals.

The Person

You’ll be an experienced technical professional who also has a passion for building relationships and ensuring customer success. You’ll thrive in dynamic environments and are confident working both independently and as well as part of a wider team across the UK.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a senior technical support role, particularly within MFD or similar office equipment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities for both software and hardware issues.
    • Proficient in operating systems, office software, and network technologies.
    • Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical information.
    • Skilled in delivering engaging and informative technical training.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Tenacious, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
    • Adept at building and maintaining confidence with colleagues and clients.
    • Commercially aware with an eye for leveraging competitive advantages.
  • Other Requirements: Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
