COMPANY TRANSPORT PROVIDED FROM SWINDON OR CHIPPENHAM!
Your Role Will Include:
* Picking and loading customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
* Counting and documenting stock levels at the start or end of shifts.
* Supporting the team by completing load sheets and computer spreadsheets.
* Adhering to health and safety procedures and reporting any issues promptly.
* Actively contributing to process improvement and implementing lean principles.
* Assisting with the maintenance of the BRC Global Standard for Food.
What We're Looking For:
* Essential Skills/Experience:
* Previous warehouse experience.
* Experience with MHE (Material Handling Equipment).
* Basic IT skills and ability to complete documentation accurately.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Experience using Manual or Electric Pump Truck (MPT or EPT)
* Personal Qualities:
* A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
* Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
Additional Information:
* Food Safety Training: Level 2 Food Safety and HACCP qualifications are advantageous but not essential. Training will be provided during your probationary period, and employment confirmation is dependent on passing these qualifications.
Health & Safety:
* Always be safety-conscious, using appropriate PPE and following proper procedures.
* Operate only machinery you are trained to use.
* Report any safety concerns immediately.
