The role involves month-end duties, payroll preparation, bank reconciliations, and cash management.
Candidates should be AAT qualified or have started CIMA/ACCA and have a desire to progress in their career.
The position offers hybrid working after a 3-month probation period and has flexible start and finish times.
The salary for this role is competitive and is commensurate with experience, with a preference for candidates with prior experience in finance.

Assistant Accountant SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a long established business in Nuneaton in the recruitment of an Assistant Accountant. We are ideally seeking someone who wishes to grow their experience and progress from finance assistant into this role where you will get involved in:

Month end duties including profit and loss and balance sheet
Accruals and Prepayments
Preparation of payroll information
The preparation of daily bank reconciliations for both sterling and euro accounts and the maintenance of company cash books
Cash management and forecasting
Posting Journals
VAT preparation
