Summary of Role

As an Internal Sales professional, you will play a key role in the growth of the department. Your main responsibilities will include handling incoming enquiries, preparing quotations aligned with KPIs, and proactively following up to convert opportunities into orders.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for achieving targets, strong organisational skills, and a hunger to succeed in a sales environment. This role offers excellent training and induction to support your development within the sales sector, particularly within technical sales in the construction or civils industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet personal and departmental sales targets.
  • Provide basic technical advice and recommendations as needed.
  • Assist in implementing sales and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain a three-month sales forecast.
  • Update and maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Develop new and existing customer accounts.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing sales calls to potential and existing customers.
  • Prepare quotations and follow up to improve conversion rates.

Requirements of the Role:

  • Experience in customer relations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Computer literate with good IT skills.
