Company Overview: A leading composite business working across multiple sectors,manufacturing moulds and component parts in composite materials.

The CNC Miller Programmer setter role:The primary function is machining of tooling for composite component manufacture. Working with aluminium steel and other metals for a range of components.

Responsibilities:

  • CNC milling programming setting and operating
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings.
  • Working to tight tolerance and using quality measuring tools to check work.
  • Working independently whilst maintain standards and project requirements.
  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining CNC machine and all associated equipment and machining area.
  • Reporting into CNC Team Leader

Previous Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar CNC Milling role to programming level.
  • Experience working with Mazak or Heidenhain or Siemens.
  • Experience in high precision manufacturing environment.
  • Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment such as verniers and calipers.
  • Previous experience machining plastics would be advantageous
